Check Jasper County Court Calendar

Start with the court named on your notice, ticket, or summons. That single detail tells you which Jasper County office holds the record, since no master Jasper County court calendar covers every local court at once. District settings run through a coordinator and clerk, while the City of Jasper posts its own recurring municipal docket list. A docket entry shows a setting, not a guarantee, so the clerk should confirm any court date before you appear. Resets and continuances can shift things after the calendar prints.

The Jasper County Court Calendar

Jasper County does not publish one verified master calendar for all courts. The 1st and 1-A District Courts have their own settings. The constitutional County Court and six justice courts maintain separate schedules. Jasper and Kirbyville municipal courts control their city cases.

A calendar is a snapshot of scheduled work, not the full docket. It may be organized by court, day, judge, or docket call. The case docket remains the better source for the event history, while the court is the final source for whether a setting still stands.

Jasper's Wednesday Calendar Rhythm

Jasper Municipal Court says its weekly docket list is updated each Wednesday for the following Tuesday docket call. The linked PDF name changes, so an old saved link may point to a past week. Use the city page to reach the current posting.

The published instruction says scheduled people must appear in person unless told otherwise. The durable facts are the Wednesday posting rhythm, Tuesday docket call, appearance rule, and official contact. Individual names and citation details should not be copied from a live list into a static calendar article.

A weekly city list covers Jasper Municipal Court only. It is not a Jasper County district, County Court, or justice-court calendar.

How to Find Your Court Date

Start with the court and cause or citation number. For a Jasper city citation, check the current municipal page and weekly list or call the city court. For a district case, check the docket where supported, then contact the District Clerk or coordinator. County Court and JP settings belong to their own offices.

  1. Read the court name on the citation, notice, or caption.
  2. Use the official weekly list, re:SearchTX, or local docket route that fits that court.
  3. Call the clerk or coordinator with the cause number when online coverage fails.
  4. Check courthouse or courtroom postings and ask counsel about any recent order.
  5. Confirm the date, time, room, and appearance method directly before attending.

Jasper District Settings Need Confirmation

No public Jasper district master-calendar interface was found. District Court Coordinator Melissa Stark is the official scheduling contact at 121 N. Austin Street, Room 205, Jasper, TX 75951. The phone is (409) 384-9570, fax is (409) 384-9722, and email is districtcourt@co.jasper.tx.us.

Identify whether the case is in the 1st District Court or 1-A District Court and provide the cause number. District Clerk Rosa Norsworthy can help locate the case record, but the court controls its schedule. A public docket result should be checked against the coordinator or assigned court when time is short or a reset appears likely.

Reading a Jasper Court Setting

Read every field together. A date without the court or event type can send a person to the wrong office. A posting date is also distinct from the actual hearing date.

DateThe scheduled calendar date, not the posting date.
TimeA docket-call time or individual setting time.
CourtroomThe room or building for the assigned court.
JudgeThe assigned court or presiding judge if displayed.
Setting typeDocket call, arraignment, conference, motion hearing, or trial.

Jasper Calendar Terms in Context

Calendar labels describe events, not outcomes. A docket call is a session in which cases are called. A setting is a future hearing or appearance. A continuance postpones a proceeding, while a reset records a new date. None of those terms means the case was dismissed.

Docket call
A scheduled session for calling cases or settings.
Setting
A future court event.
Continuance
A postponement granted under court procedure.
Reset
A changed date entered for the event.

Event names can differ by court and software. Confirm an unfamiliar label with the clerk rather than giving it a legal meaning based on guesswork.

Resets, Continuances, and Cancellations

A court controls whether a hearing is reset, continued, or canceled. A new docket entry or revised weekly list may show the change, but public systems do not always update at the same speed. A filed motion for continuance does not prove that the court granted it.

Check the latest order and call the assigned clerk or coordinator. Jasper Municipal Court requires continuance requests in writing before the appearance date and says one continuance is generally available to an unrepresented person. That city procedure must not be applied to district, County Court, JP, or Kirbyville cases.

If a setting disappears from a weekly PDF, do not infer dismissal or sealing. Weekly calendars are incomplete snapshots. The case docket or court office can supply the current status.

Jasper Family Orders Are Not Calendars

The Jasper-area district standing order applies automatically in divorce and suits affecting the parent-child relationship. It addresses children, pets, property, records, conduct, mediation, bond waiver, and when the order ends. It was filed in October 2023 and appears in the Texas Local Rules repository.

The standing order is a procedure source, not a hearing calendar. Its filing or post date does not set a party's court date. A separate notice, case order, docket entry, or coordinator confirmation supplies the actual setting. This distinction prevents a common error when several official documents display dates.

What to Do If You Miss a Setting

Contact the responsible court or clerk at once. Give the cause or citation number and ask what the docket now shows. If counsel represents you, contact counsel as well. Do not assume that paying, filing a request, or leaving a message automatically clears the missed setting.

Missed a Setting? Jasper Municipal Court warns that failure to appear can result in a warrant and added costs.

Call the court promptly and ask what official action is required.

Consult a licensed Texas attorney about legal consequences or how to address a missed Jasper County setting.

Jasper County Calendar Fallbacks

When a calendar is unavailable, work through the access channels in order. Check the current official court page or docket. Call the clerk or coordinator. Visit the correct counter or ask whether a public terminal or printed docket is available. A party's attorney may have a newer notice. re:SearchTX can provide a statewide search layer where the case type and court are covered.

JP offices publish contact routes but no unified live county calendar. Call the precinct named in the case. The County Court and County Clerk pages also do not expose a countywide calendar in the inspected material. For Jasper Municipal Court, use 555 South Main Street, (409) 383-6157, or jaspercitycourt@jaspertx.org. Posted city hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Public access does not override sealing or confidentiality. Texas Rule 76a addresses sealing of court records, while judicial-record access has a separate Rule 12 framework. Ask for the public setting without seeking protected case details.

Jasper Calendar Checks Before Travel

The Jasper County Courthouse address is 121 N. Austin Street, but a room number matters. The District Clerk is in Room 202, the 1-A District Court is in Room 204, and the 1st District Court and coordinator are tied to Room 205. JP2 is in Room 105, while other justice courts operate from separate precinct offices. Jasper Municipal Court is at 555 South Main Street inside the police department. A calendar entry should be matched to the right building and room before travel.

Bring the cause or citation number and a copy of the latest notice. Ask whether the listed time is a general docket call or an individual hearing. Confirm the judge or court, check-in method, and whether in-person appearance is required. If the online calendar and a written order conflict, contact the court rather than choosing the newer-looking item. A web page can change quickly, while a signed order may impose a duty that only the court can alter.

Kirbyville Municipal Court publishes an address and phone but no verified online calendar was found. Call (409) 423-5953 for the city court named on a Kirbyville document. Do not use Jasper's Tuesday docket rhythm for Kirbyville. Browndell has no located municipal calendar or court page in the reviewed sources, so the issuing document and county directory must identify the responsible court without guessing a precinct.
